SPECIAL OPPORTUNITIES
Building Opportunity

Please be praying about this building pictured.  It is located in the same neighborhood where we have been working since we began the ministry in Moscow.  In reality we are purchasing the location more than we are the building.  We will have to add a second floor and expand the size of the building.  It is the only place available in the neighborhood.  We already have the money in hand for the purchase.  We will be buying it from an individual so it will be much less complicated than if we were dealing with a government agency.  Pray that the present owner has a clean title to the building and can in fact sell it to the church/college.

Related Opportunity and NEED
We were able to raise in the USA about $220,000.  The Grace of God Christian Church in Moscow really made sacrifices and gave $90,000 to the project.  We are very proud of their willingness to give such money.  The projected costs were about $400,000.  In order to purchase a building, we found it necessary to borrow funds from First National Bank in Marianna, Arkansas.  The original loan of $90,000 has been paid down to $60,000.  We want to share the opportunity with you to help us pay off the loan.  Perhaps God has blessed you with the ability to take care of the matter on our behalf.  Perhaps you know of a congregation or a Sunday School Class that would be able and willing to help with the project.  There is no way to measure what it will mean to the work in Russia to have a building in Moscow.

Unusual Opportunity

We want to share with you a most unusual opportunity for the 21st Century.  Here you see views of the Rehabilitation Center in Balakova.  It is fully supported by Russian churches.  It has also become the source of a number of new preachers and church planters.  Alexander, the preacher that led in the establishment of the center, told me that he felt these men wanted to serve the Lord because they were so thankful for the Lord’s making it possible for them to overcome their alcohol and drug problems.  The facility is actually an old collective farm.  The building on the left was built by peasant farm workers prior to the revolution.  It is more than 100 years old.
They have only asked us for monetary help this one time.  In the depth of the winter season they cannot drive a vehicle back and forth to town for supplies.  (Most of their supplies are self grown on the farm)  They need two horses to pull a large sled back and forth for supplies.  I asked the price of a horse.  They told me a good horse in Russia would cost about $1,000.  Help us raise the $2,000 they need for horses.

Ministry Opportunity

With the completion of their new building the congregation in Gus Khrustalnyy felt the need to expand their ministry to further meet the needs of the community and utilize the building. One of our most experienced and fruitful ministers in Russia and his wife have felt the leading of the Lord to move to Gus and join the ministry team.
They have stepped out in faith and moved to Gus.  The congregation is not in a position to meet their needs at the present time.  Alexander Loukmanov, the minister in Gus has asked us if we could raise the necessary support for a short period of time.
They are asking if a church or group would partner with them in this ministry.  They feel they would need $500 per month for a period of five years to meet this opportunity.  Would you, or someone you know, like to partner with them in this great opportunity.
The Apostle Paul Academy is in the process of beginning a distance learning program for the area churches in the new building.  Having such a nice building gives us opportunities beyond imagination.  We want to use the building to the fullest extent we can.
