Dear Friends & Ministry Partners,

A number of really exciting things have taken place since our last correspondence. God is bringing to pass things that we have prayed about for years. He is so good to us and very faithful to keep the ministry in a state of outreach all the time.

One of our regular supporting families has donated to the ministry this lovely Chrysler Town & Country van. It will take pressure off the Goins 94 Volvo that has nearly 260k miles. God bless such devoted supporters.

Much more newsworthy is that the Shaver family in Krasnodar welcomed a new son into this world two weeks ago. It was very much a Russian experience for them. They wanted to deliver the baby at home with the help of a mid-wife. The labor was a little belabored so the mid-wife went home. Shortly after her departure Joanna delivered her new son with the help of her mother from Neosho, Missouri. Baby and Joanna are doing fine. How God blesses in every aspect of life.

In a few weeks Jennifer Waldren will be birthing a new child. Be praying for their safety.

This might be a good time to share with you that both the Shavers and Waldrens have found life in Russia to be more expensive than planned. Both families are in need of increased support. If you know of a Sunday School class, individual, or church that might be in a position to help them on a regular basis it will be appreciated. Just memo your gift for "Shavers" or "Waldrens".

In September, I spent a week in Omaha, Nebraska. I spoke at Kingsway Christian Church and met with their Missions Committee on the 9th and then taught classes and spent time with students at Nebraska Christian College through the 12th. The Kingsway church is our largest congregational supporter. The time at NCC was arranged by David Haynes, Professor of Ministries at NCC and former Trustee of WE-GO Mission Coalition.

I am also pleased to share with you that in the past month my personal witness led three people to accept Christ. Two of them have been baptized and the third is planning to do so in the next few days. I constantly try to share my faith with those I come in contact with in my daily activities.

Thanks again, with all my love,

Max Goins
